How does seeing the ‘whole person” affect your view of this person and not
just his/her difficulties? How is such perspective important in teaching and
learning an inclusive classroom?
 Although I was not born yet at Beethoven’s time, seeing the holistic aspect of
himself did not change my impression of him as a genius composer and an
inspiring person. His difficulties were tough, and it was one of the stories we
must look up to because we face different challenges in our lives, if we, who
are having a healthy body can’t endure it, then think of those who have
disability and surviving their lives. The perspective of seeing a person without
pre-judge and continuing to look into the “whole” self of the person is essential
in teaching and learning by allowing the aspirants in inclusive classroom to
have an environment that shows the love and passion regardless of their
differences.
