ABSTRACT

The study was conducted to find out the effects of

pandemic to practice teaching among BEED 4 th year students

of Surigao State College of Technology. Specifically, the

study determined the profile of respondents and the factors

that affect student’s practice teaching in this time of

pandemic in terms of internet stability, noise, and digital

competence and the significant difference of the practice

teaching in a real environment and the practice teaching

online.

The study made use of descriptive research design and

a researchers–made questionnaire to gather data from the 45

respondents. In analysing the data gathered, frequency

count and percent, weighted mean and standard deviation,

and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were employed.

The findings of the study are revealed as follows:

Majority of the respondents are females. The survey

revealed (µ=3.06) response in the internet stability survey

which is “agree” in reference to the Likert scale used.

survey which is “agree” in reference to the Likert scale

used. The survey revealed (µ=3.26) response in the digital

competence survey which is “agree” in reference to the

Likert scale used.
