1. What is the main purpose of Pilates?


The main purpose of Pilates is to help strengthening the body with an emphasis on core
strength. This helps also to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Pilates is similar to
yoga because its concentrate on posture, balance, and flexibility. In Pilates the chance of injury
is much lower than with other more strenuous forms of exercise. It is more focuses on the mind-
body concentration.
2. What’s the difference between Yoga and Pilates?
The difference between Yoga and Pilates is Yoga can be used for improving flexibility of the body
joints while Pilates focuses on trying to relax yet strengthen tense muscles.
3. Does Pilates help you lose belly fat?
Yes because you don’t need to spend money to go and pay to the gym training to lose belly fat
because Pilates can be a better option to tone down your belly. Pilates is better than gym for
belly fat as it focuses on the deepest layer of abdominals.
4. What part of the body does Pilates work on?
The part of the body does Pilates work on is stomach it is great for killer abs and core strength.
Pilates hits the core muscles which has effects on the lower back, abdomen, hip and pelvic
muscles.
5. Can you do Pilates every day?
Yes, because Pilates is safe enough to do every day and you will get the rhythm and become
consistent, and a good goal to do it every day.
