ACTIVITY NO. 1

1. Using your own words define fitness Exercises? (at least 5 sentences)
Fitness is a physical activity that is carried out regularly and periodically. It aims to maintain the vitality
of the body and practice discipline. Exercise in a fitness program is not just to shape the body, but more
than that, you will experience major changes in physical strength. The number of muscles will increase
according to the portion of the exercise. And you can choose not to be muscular because there are
programs with certain regulations. With diligent fitness, you will have very excellent breathing. The
decline in the power of concentration and memory is influenced by increasing age. But these problems
can be overcome by balancing physical exercise with a fitness program. A fit and well-trained body will
be free from the risk of decreased concentration. Physical exercise will help prevent stress, especially if
done regularly at the gym.

4. In the midst of pandemic how do you keep yourself physically fit and active?
Being physically active benefits both the mind and the body. If you are unable or unwilling to go outside,
here are some ideas for staying active indoors. Make an effort to get some exercise in every day.
Walking is beneficial even in small spaces. Consider pacing while on the phone.
Try to get up and move around every 30 minutes or so, especially if you're watching TV or working on a
computer. Take regular activity breaks. Cleaning, gardening, dancing, and cooking all contribute to
physical activity. Participate in a free online exercise class on YouTube. Cardio, yoga, strength training—
the possibilities are limitless! Maintaining physical distance does not imply maintaining social distance;
exercise virtually with your friends. Plan to listen to the same

5.What activity/activities did you learned from your P.E. 101 class?

Physical education teaches students the skills, knowledge, and competencies they need to live healthy
and physically active lives at school and throughout their lives. They learn 'in, through, and about'
movement, developing an understanding that movement is essential to human expression and can
contribute to people's pleasure and improve their lives.

4. In the midst of pandemic how do you keep yourself physically fit and active?
During the pandemic, I've been keeping physically fit and active by trying out home workouts
using online resources such as workout videos and fitness apps. Going for outdoor walks, runs,
or bike rides is another great way to get exercise while still maintaining social distancing. I've
also found that incorporating simple activities like stretching, doing household chores, or taking
the stairs in my home can make a big difference in improving physical fitness. Practicing self-
care and mindfulness activities such as yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises have been
really helpful in reducing stress and anxiety during this challenging time. Overall, these small
changes have helped me maintain my physical and mental health while adapting to the new
normal during the pandemic.
