Title of the Project:  Performance Appraisal System

Company Profile: Wipro is a MLC , SIX SIGMA Company . Wipro has three
wings 1. Wipro Infrastructure 2. Wipro BPO 3. Wipro technology.

Statement of the problem:  Employees get demotivated when they do not get


any reward on giving their best to their performance . Performance appraisal
would be the best way to motivate employees so that they continue giving their
best to their performance .

OBJECITVE AND SCOPE

1. To study the performance appraisal process of employee in the company.


2. To study the effectiveness of appraisal system in the company.

3. To study the employees’ view point on their performance appraisal by their


seniors

4. To study, whether the system is helpful for the employer to identify Junior
Manager who can be promoted and identify their training needs, their
strengths and weaknesses and to make improvement in their skills

4. Finally to analyze the information collected and draw conclusions.
