Online Driver Education Program
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Montgomery College has been approved by the MD MVA to
offer online classes in driver education. The distance learning course covers approximately
30 hours of the required driver education curriculum.

*To complete the MD Driver Education Program requirements, you must take the MVA 6 hour Behind the Wheel before
going to the MD MVA to apply for license*

MD MVA 6 hour Behind the Wheel

This MVA 6-hour Behind the Wheel course is designed for students who have completed the
30-hour classroom portion of Driver Education. This course is NOT offered online and will be
available as soon as College access is restored.

ü Learner Permit Required
ü Student must provide 30-hour class completion form in order to register for
this course
