1872 –1872 ATENEO FIRST YEAR  Rizal was placed at the bottom of the class.
 He progressed rapidly and at the end of the
month he became “’emperor”
1873-1874 ATENEO SECOND YEAR  Rizal received excellent grades in all subjects
and a gold medal
1874-1875 ATENEO THIRD YEAR  He won only one gold medal in latin
 He failed to win the medal in spanish
1875-1876 ATENEO FOURTH YEAR  He became an interno in Ateneo
 He won five medals at the end of the school
term
1876-1877 ATENEO LAST YEAR IN  He was “the pride of the Jesuits”
ATENEO  He obtained the highest grades in all subject.
1877-1878 UST FIRST YEAR IN  He decided to sign up for philosophy and
PHILOSOPHY AND letters during his freshman year
LETTERS
1878-1879 UST FIRST YEAR IN  After completing his first year, rizal decided to
MEDICINE take up medicine.
 His grades after shifting to medicine suffer as
well.
1979-1890 UST SECOND YEAR IN  His grades was good

1880-1881 UST THIRD YEAR IN  His grades improving

1881-1882 UST FORTH YEAR IN  All of his grades are excellent.
