⦁ (June 20, 1861-1870) Informal education from his mother and private tutor
⦁ (1870) Formal education in Binan, Laguna
⦁ (1872) Entered the Ateneo de Municipal for secondary education
⦁ (June 10, 1872) He took the entrance exam in Ateneo
⦁ (1875) Rizal enters Ateneo as a boarder at just 14yrs old
⦁ (1877) Studied Bachelor in Arts in Ateneo and graduated with high honors
⦁ (June 1877) Studied Philosophy and Letters in UST
⦁ (1878) He shifted course to Medicine because of his mother’s failing eyesight
⦁ (1877- Jan 1, 1882)He also took land surveying in Ateneo de Municipal
⦁ (1882-1885) He studied Licentiate in Philosophy and letters and ophthalmology from
Central Universidad of Madrid
⦁ (1885-1886) Rizal specialized in ophthalmology
⦁ (March 14, 1877) He received his Bachelor of Arts with high honor in Ateneo

⦁ (1877-1882) Leaving Manila to pursue studies in Spain
⦁ (Jan 1882) Rizal’s first travel to Europe
⦁ (Nov 1882) Rizal moved in Madrid and enrolled at Universidad Central de Madrid
⦁ (1883) Rizal traveled to Paris for vacation also to observe about medicine
⦁ (Feb 1886) Rizal traveled in Heidelberg, Germany
⦁ (March 1887) Rizal’s return to Madrid, Spain
⦁ (August 1887) Rizal’s return to Manila to practice his profession
⦁ (1888) Rizal traveled to Macau and Japan before going to America
⦁ (April 1888) Entering San Francisco, California
⦁ (May 1888) Rizal’s second travel in Europe
⦁ (JAN 1889) He went back to Paris to join the Universal Exposition
⦁ (1890) Rizal shuttled between London and Paris
⦁ (1891) Rizal in Belgium
⦁ (June 1892) Rizal came home to the Philippines
