What is it about?
The blog is a fashion blog, and it is about John Galliano’s era as Dior’s creative director.
He took Dior's ideals of richness and femininity and pushed them to the very edge of an
unexpected, artfully-clad cliff in an era when fashion houses depended heavily on heritage
and house codes. As a result, one of the most adrenaline-pumping brand relaunches in
fashion history was born.

The most important lesson I learned in the blog is:

Galliano’s time at Dior was iconic, and there might not be another “Galliano” moment at the
fashion house. Fashion has undergone a fundamental shift, with brands now being valued
more than the designers who created them. Someone purchasing a Gucci belt or purse today
may be unaware that it was designed by Alessandro Michele, just as someone purchasing a
Dior slingback pump may be unaware that Maria Grazia Chiuri belongs to the long line of
fashion's greatest and most controversial visionaries from the fashion house. Because the
current condition of fashion does not require it, there may never be another Galliano at Dior.
