New Society National High School is situated at Brgy. Sinawal and neighboring Brgy.

Apopong.This 5- hectare campus, started its operation in school year 1991-1992 as an annex school
of General Santos City National High School. From conducting classes under makeshift rooms at
New Society Elementary School site, it now boasts an improved façade and facilities like the
administration building, gymnasium, 4 storey and multi-purpose buidings, teachers’ training center,
Junior and Senior High School labs and many more. Enrollment has increased through the
collaboration of the government, private sectors and Non-Government Organizations. One of the
major stakeholder in the school history is the Lions Club and Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce
which donated most of the buildings and facilities. The untiring support from the parents, officials and
the community and under the supervision of Dr. Elsie M. Cabanlit, Principal II, inspire the teachers
and students to go on with their quest for gaining knowledge and aim for continuous improvement
and development of its facilities and delivery of services, particularly the curriculum and instruction or
the Principle II of the School Based Management.

Indicator 1. The curriculum provides for the needs of all types of learners in the school
community.This folder features endorsement from RO of special programs and/or curriculum being
offered or implemented in school; action plan; accomplishment and other reports of programs offered
by the school.

Indicator 2 is about the implemented curriculum being localized to make it more meaningful to the
learners and applicable to life in the community. Filed documents include TGs, WHLPs, Learning
Activity Sheets, accomplishment reports etc.

Indicator 3. Ensures that A representative group of school and community stakeholders develop the
methods and materials for developing Creative thinking and problem solving. Action
researches conducted by the school, action plans, accomplishment reports and many more.

Indicator 4. Regulary monitors learning systems and collaboratively monitored by the community
using appropriate tools to ensure the holistic growth and development of the learners and the
community. On hand documents are Contextualized M&E Tools, Needs-Based Researches and their
results as basis for the implementation of different programs and projects.

Indicator 5 makes sure that appropriate assessment tools for teaching and learning are
continuously reviewed and improved, and assessment results are contextualized to the
learner and local situation and the attainment of relevant life skills contain the Division and School
Monitoring and Evaluation, Phil- Iri and other reports

Indicator 6.is where Learning managers and facilitators (teachers, administrators and community
members) nurture values and environments that are protective of all children and demonstrate
behaviors consistent to the organization’s vision, mission and goals. The Contextualized Child
Protection Policy Implementation Report cum Child-Friendly School Systems features the active
involvement of co-curricular clubs/ organizations and implementation of guidance/ CPP programs
and student activities during face to face and newnormal classes.

Indicator 7. Aims to make Methods and resources are learner and community- friendly,
enjoyable, safe, inclusive, accessible and aimed at developing self- directed learners. Learners
are equipped with essential knowledge, skills, and values to assume responsibility and accountability
for their own learning. Shared documents include awards received, updates on the utilization of
facilities, services and projects rendered, lesson delivery and students’ outputs and others.

In preparation for the possible limited face to face classes, the New Society National High School
faculty and stakeholders supports the Vacc to School program, follows and promotes the CoVid 19
safety protocols and continuously improves its facilities and services through classroom structuring
and other initiatives to cater the needs of learners this new normal… New Society, Ato ni!
