Coba Anda jelaskan perbedaan dependent clause dan independent clause; serta

erikan contoh untuk masing-masing jenis clause

Dependent Clause :
Dependent clause adalah klausa terikat dimana klausa ini tidak dapat menjadi kalimat utuh.
Klausa ini tidak memiliki makna jika hanya berdiri sendiri. Dependent clause membutuhkan
bantuan kata yang lainnya agar dapat memiliki makna.

Contoh :
 Since three years ago.
 When you love her.
Klausa diatas tidak memiliki makna, agar terdapat makna yang utuh, perlu tambahan. Berikut
contoh kalimat utuhnya :
 I love you since three years ago.
 I hate you when you love her.

Independent Clause :
Independent clause adalah klausa bebas, dapat berdiri sendiri, dan dapat menjadi kalimat
utuh. Klausa ini memiliki makna meskipun hanya berdiri sendiri.
Contoh :
 Many people want to buy compass shoes.
 He lives in Jakarta.

anthropomorphic mouse has developed along the years. He first appeared in color in 1935.
The first technicolor Disney film was Flowers and Trees from 1932. He also evolved from
being simply a character in animated cartoons and comic strips to become one of the most
recognizable symbols in the world.  Mickey's popularity has grown tremendously around the
world. This was due to his angelic nature.
