We’ve taken powered air respiratory protection into a new dimension and reached new levels
of comfort to allow you greater flexibility and improved productivity in the workplace.
The 3M Jupiter turbo unit can be attached to a wide range of different headtops which feature
our unique connection system – QRS (Quick Release Swivel). This flexible approach allows
you to select the right headtop and breathing tube you need to perform your chosen task.
The 3M Jupiter turbo unit is an ingenious work of design and engineering, and boasts many
advanced features to make powered air more comfortable and productive than ever before.
This new turbo is easy to maintain and use and because it does its job so well, it leaves you
to concentrate on yours.

FLEXIBILITY
- The 3M Jupiter turbo unit can be used with 18 different headtops with only 1 connection system. This
makes it unique and versatile and is suitable for the following applications:

- 2 Breathing tube options: lightweight polyurethane, or rugged chemical resistant rubber.

- Choice of 5 filter types (P3, A2P3, ABE1P3, K1P3, A2BEK1P3) to cover the majority of hazards.

- Pre-filter option.

- Choice of 3 batteries: 4 hour, 8 hour or I.S./Ex 4 hour*

- Battery management options: simple trickle charger or sophisticated electronic system.*

ERGONOMICS - COMFORT
- The 3M Jupiter™ turbo unit uses lightweight materials and has an integrated and unobtrusive battery.
Slimmer, lighter and more compact, it allows maximum ease and freedom of movement.
- Low profile, enabling work in tight spaces.
- Because it uses NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery power, the 3M Jupiter turbo unit’s weight is almost
forgettable, making it much less tiring to wear, especially at the end of your working day.
- The 3M Jupiter turbo unit is mounted on a padded comfort belt for a snug fit that stays comfortable
after hours of wear.

SAFETY
- An electronic flow control gives known continuous level of filtered air.
- An electronic alarm gives audible and visual alarm in case of low-battery and/or low-flow.
- An optional filter cover prevents damage or sparks entering the filter body.

EASY TO USE; EASY TO SERVICE

- The entire turbo unit comprises only 3 replaceable modules - there are no small parts to lose or break.
- The 3M Jupiter turbo unit’s 2-filter design features a unique half turn attachment, ensuring a safer
connection.
- The 3M Jupiter turbo unit’s smooth shape allows easy cleaning. An optional filter cover allows the turbo
to withstand shower decontamination.
- Easy and quick connections for battery, breathing tube and filter.
- Optimum performance can be maintained through an extremely simple motor calibration.
This contributes to an extended product life without the need for time-consuming maintenance.
