EFFECTS OF ONLINE LEARNING IN TERMS OF ACADEMIC

INTRODUCTION

The pandemic forced the closure of schools all around the world, affecting millions of students. And
forced everyone to quickly adopt online learning. Gopal, Ram, et al. “Impact Of Online Classes On the Satisfaction And

1.reported that schools and colleges are moving towards educational technologies for student learning to
avoid a strain during the pandemic season. This abrupt transformation has ramifications for everyone,
particularly students' overall health and academic performance. Previous research on traditionally taught
large classes has shown that it has a negative impact on both students and faculty. Many universities use
online courses to teach these large classes because they provide students with more flexibility in their

Matter?, Distance Education, 2020)The purpose of this study was to look into the effects of online learning on
student academic performance.

SCOPE AND DELIMITATION


The main Objectives of the study was to know the Effects of online learning in terms of academic performance of grade
12 gas A student, At Tabaco National High School. The objectives of the study were limited to factors that affect online
learning in terms of academic performace of 12 gas a students.

The respondents were limited to 12 Gas a students, school year 2021-2022.the data was collected using surveys. The
period of the study .

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


 How are the students affected in terms of academic performance?
 Do students well being affect their academic performance?
 What are the possible ways to help the students improve their academic performance?

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY


The result of the study will merit the following:
Students.The results of this data could help the students to improve their academic performance.
Parents.The research will benefits those parents who are concerm of their children’s academic performannce
Future researcher.The result Of this study can serve as basis for further study.
