Chapter 3

The boat symbolizes myself. The sun is the support from my family. The waves are the
circumstances that I think will hinder my journey towards the island which symbolizes my bright
future. As I grew older, I’m becoming more focus and determined to achieve my goals in life. But
as I row towards the island, the bigger waves became the struggle that I need to face. Despite of
those waves, I still have the sunlight which is the support of my family because they are my
number one supporter and also my inspiration in this journey. They said that, “the longest journey
begins with a single action.” No matter how big the waves are, you just need to go with the flow.
One day, because of your perseverance, you will be at your destination so keep rowing.
