In which undertaking was ascertain for casting of Deck Slab and assured that in case of structural failure, all the responsibility will be of Concessionaire's, Further, itis to bring in your kind notice that by various correspondences, it was intimated by IE not to carry out any work further without complying our observations and closure of non-confirming report no-03, But, in spite of following IE’s instructions, work was carried out further. And, due to covering of work without confirmation by Independent Engineer cube strength of Raft & Wall of LVUP at Ch; 43+755 (RHS) were found surprisingly low. Moreover, vide letter under ref no: 04 NCR was issued for carrying out structure work at Ch. 43+755 VUP without submitting Concrete Mix Design, SBC Test report and without rectifying VUP location as per site condition and submitted drawing, In which, Concrete Mix Design & SBC test report were submitted later but shifting of VUP was not taken into account. ‘Therefore, in view of the above we would like to suggest that Core cutting test shall be performed for this structure and those whose cubes have failed in Compressive Strength Test.
