DESCRIPTION – The acerola tree (Malpighia glabra / Malpighia punicifolia) produces a small, round to oblate
cherry like fruit with 3 lobes, thin skin, known for its high contents of vitamin C. When ripe, the fruits have a
bright red color. The acerola tree found in Brazil the optimal climate and soil conditions to produce a fruit with
outstanding Vitamin C content. By means of a careful lyophilization, carried out in accordance with the Good
Manufacturing Practices, LIOTÉCNICA transforms a concentrated acerola juice into a top quality acerola powder
which maintains the nutritional profile of the acerola fruit and a high content of Vitamin C naturally coming from
the fruit with no added synthetic ascorbic acid.

INGREDIENTS – Acerola juice. Gluten free.

APPLICATION – As a source of vitamin C in various products such as beverages, supplements, tablets, capsules,
cereal bars, dairy products, snacks, chocolates, confectionery. As a substitute for synthetic ascorbic acid in the
production of breads. For retail in consumer packages such as sachets, jars (*)

STORAGE – At room temperature (18ºC - 25ºC), protected from dust, moisture and light, in the original closed
package.

TRANSPORTATION – At room temperature (18ºC - 25ºC), in clean vehicles, protected from dust, moisture and
materials that can offer contamination risk.

BEST BEFORE – 24 months, if maintained in the original closed package at room temperature (18ºC - 25ºC) in a
dry place away from extreme conditions of heat, cold and moisture.
