INNOVATIVE INTELLIGENCE OVER THE

INTERNET – “THE CLOUD”

Cloud Computing provides various computing services, which makes ease

of all services that include server maintenance, storage management, database management,
networking providences, software deployment, analytics and also it offers an affordable economic
environment so that you can pay only for the resources you use. The benefits of cloud computing
are cost-efficient, speed, performance, reliability, Scalability, Productivity, and high security. It
provides you with your required needs by several different models, types, and services that have
evolved to help offer the right solution for your needs. The uses of the Cloud are to Create cloud-
native applications, Provides to Store, back up, and recover data, Helps in Delivering software on
demand, Supports, Streaming audio, and video files, Helps in Testing, building, and deploying
applications, analyzes data and embeds intelligence thus it is called as the innovative intelligence
over the internet. There are three different ways of cloud services are public cloud, private cloud, or
hybrid cloud.

What is Public Cloud?

In Public Cloud, the computing resources such as servers, databases, and
storage are delivered, over the internet. And those resources are owned and accessed by third-party
cloud service providers(users). And the resources of the public cloud can be used and accessed by
multiple tenants(users) and the customers who need servers and storage have to pay for the access
of the public cloud and they can share, manipulate, and add or remove resources from the cloud. In
simple it is a shared network with scalable demand. The main advantage of using the public cloud is
it is easy to purchase, easy for storage maintenances, and easy for deploying and running projects
efficiently. Some of the well-known public cloud service providers are Alibaba Cloud, Amazon
Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Public IT cloud services
global market growth 2011-2022, this forecast shows the global market growth rate of public IT
cloud services from 2011 to 2022. In 2020, the market is expected to grow by approximately 6.1
percent over 2019 levels. While the growth of cloud services is relatively rapid, it still represents a
small percentage of the global IT services market, which was forecast to reach 992 billion U.S.
dollars in 2020.

Benefits of Using Public Cloud:

 Server redundancy.
 Lack of maintenance responsibility.
 High-Speed Performance.
 Scalability with demand.
 Frequent penetration testing.
 Non-perimeter Security.
 More recent technology.

What is a Private Cloud?

In a Private Cloud, the cloud computing resources are shared over a

private network. And those resources are owned by a single tenant(user), organization, or business.
All those hardware and software resources are accessed, manipulated, and maintained by the user at
their own data center. And some users, business or organizations allows third-party users to host
their resources in their private cloud. In simple, it is an isolated access-cloud service provider. The
users have to pay for the servers and storage of computing resources and it is highly recommended
for storing confidential, Personal Information Files and Sensitive data. It works in both on-site and
off-site premises. The main advantage of using the private cloud is it is highly secured and
personalized. Some of the well-known public cloud service providers are HP Data Centers,
Microsoft, Elastra-private cloud, and Ubuntu. Private cloud platform service adoption worldwide
2020, by the service provider, this statistic shows the current and planned usage of various
private cloud platform service vendors to run applications worldwide in 2020. As of the first
quarter of 2020, 42 percent of respondents indicated that they were already running applications
on VMware's vSphere private cloud services.

Benefits of Using Private Cloud:

 Cost efficiency and Customization.
 Geographic Availability.
 Compliance and Confidential of storing sensitive data.
 Security and Privacy.
 Performance Control.
 Business Continuity and Promoting.
 Isolated secured Environment.

Private Cloud VS Public Cloud:

 Is Private Cloud More Secure Than Public Cloud?

Before identifying the difference between or considering Private Cloud versus

Public Cloud, you have to remember that both have their own unique feature of Cloud Service
Providence. So, when you go for Public Cloud, it is a shared network but it is requiring a high cost
for accessing and it is also not highly customizable and it provides only less security and privacy.
But it doesn’t require high capital expense for hosting cloud computing resources and its
performance is high when compared with Private Cloud, Private Cloud provides isolated access to
cloud computing resources over the internet i.e., is it is highly recommended for storing
confidential files, sensitive data and Business details that are stored, manipulated, maintained and
monitored with high security. It requires a third party for hosting a private cloud and the capital
expense for it is relatively very high. you can customize the cloud computing resources easily in the
private cloud at lost cost for owning and Nowadays, Modern Public Cloud offers the opportunity of
storing your resources in the public cloud with isolated user access.

If you are confused with these two Cloud Service Providers then go for the
third one that is Hybrid Cloud, which is the combination of both Public and Private Cloud.
Hybrid Cloud is involved in running Public cloud services on Private Cloud Infrastructure
followed by deploying resources in it. In general, public clouds and private clouds relatively
provide the same types of services. The crucial differences lie in Cloud Service Provider who can
access the cloud computing resources and the infrastructure that owns, hosts them both. In recent
years, the approach of making users deploy their resources on their own cloud infrastructure might
be forcing the users, businesses, or organizations to have both the Cloud Service Providers.
