If it is not flashing blue, it means it has already been paired up elsewhere and
you will need to use the ‘Generate Shared’ function to share the control with the other device already paired
(see Controlling with multiple devices).
If the light it is not flashing blue and you do not have any other devices paired then reset the light (see
Resetting the light) and continue to Step 1
Step 1
With the lamp flashing blue, stand within range, open the app (with Bluetooth enabled on your device) and
press Add New Lights under the Add category.
Step 2
If prompted, type in a simple password, this is to stop outside devices controlling your lights.
Step 3
The light will appear in the list to add, presss the connect button and the app will start connecting.
During the connnection phase the light will start flashing yellow.
Press the back button (<) to return to the main menu
Step 4
The light is now connected and should show up under the ‘All Lights’ list.
You can rename it to a user friendly name by pressing the pencil icon.
Step 5
Repeat this process for all other Auraglow Bluetooth lights you wish to control via the app.
Step 2
Type in the name of the group and press ok.
Step 3
Go into the Ungrouped category and press the pencil on the light you wish to assign to the group.
Step 4
Go into the Ungrouped category, press the pencil on the light you wish to assign to the group and press the
Move button.
Step 5
Make sure you are within range of the light you are moving. Select the group you want the light to belong to
(a tick should appear against it) and then press the X.
If for some reason this does not work first time then completely exit the app (without it running in the
background) and try again.
Repeat this step for all other lights you wish to assign to the group.
You can now change the colour by moving the colour wheel, turn the lights on or off or dim them using the
percentage slider.
If you press the Temperature button it will show the following screen.
You can now adjust the white setting from Daylight White (6500K) to Warm White (3000K).
Pressing the MAX button will put the bulb on its brightest setting.
Shake On/Off
When you shake your device it will turn the lights on or off.
This will only work if your device has a built in movement sensor such as an Iphone.
Motion change
The lights will change colour to your movement.
This will only work if your device has a built in movement sensor such as an Iphone.
Music change
The lights will change colour to the beat of the music.
Your device will need to have the microphone enabled.
Constant change
The lights will fade in and out of each colour.
You can adjust the speed from 0.5 to 5 seconds per colour.
Flash
The lights will flash the each colour.
You can adjust the speed from 0.5 to 5 seconds per colour.
Schedule On/Off
Turning this on will allow you to create schedules for the lights selected.
The add button (+ symbol) will appear on the top right corner of your screen.
Press this to add the schedule and follow the instructions below:
Step 1
Set the master device and the slave device up on the same WiFi network.
Step 2
On the master device, go into the settings and press Generate shared (this is named Share Configs with
QRCode on Android devices).
Step 3
On the slave device, go into the settings and press Get shared (this is named Import from QRCode on Android
devices).
Step 4
Using the camera on the slave device, scan the QR code generated on the master device
This will now send the complete configuration over from the master device to the slave device.
