TIỂU LUẬN

NỘI DUNG YÊU CẦU:

Students are to do the following tasks:

1. Part 1: (3 pts) Choose any TWO real corporations/companies in industry,
a. Write a brief introduction to the two corporations/companies and some information
about the background of the business correspondence,
b. Write an enquiry letter, basing on the information discussed in §1a, presenting your
letter on a sheet of paper without any letterhead, and applying the format, layout as
well as presentation discussed in Oxford Handbook of Commercial
Correspondence (new edition) by A. Ashley (OUP).

2. Part 2: (7 pts) Choose one issue in a Vietnamese newspaper,

a. Write an essay (approximately 1000 words) to discuss the issue,
b. Include at least THREE in-text citations in the essay conforming APA
documentation guidelines,
c. Cite at least THREE documents the citation of which are found in the essay and
include these documents in the Works Cited List conforming APA documentation
guidelines.

SUBMISSION AND FORMAT GUIDELINE:

3. Observe the following points:

a. Students are not allowed to choose the same pair of corporations/companies and
issues for the essay; and students are required to register the
corporations/companies’ names as well as background and the issues for the essay
with the lecturer in charge of the class;
b. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden;
c. No extension of the due date is granted;
d. Each student is granted only ONE attempt to submit the paper on LMS-BUH;
e. At the end of part 2 of the paper, highlight the number of words;
f. Students are to follow the instruction prescribed in CÁC QUY ĐỊNH VỀ TRÌNH
BÀY, NỘP BÀI (attached herewith).

CÁC QUY ĐỊNH VỀ TRÌNH BÀY, NỘP BÀI

1. Format: Font chữ: Times New Roman, cỡ chữ: 13, canh đều, lề trái 3cm, các lề
còn lại 2cm, dãn dòng 1.5 lines
2. Số trang: Nội dung tiểu luận: 5-10 trang, không gồm tài liệu tham khảo
3. Lập danh mục tài liệu tham khảo ở trang cuối, trong bài tiểu luận phải ghi rõ
nguồn trích dẫn.
4. Bố cục:
a. Trang 1 là trang bìa (theo mẫu đính kèm, có ghi rõ Họ và tên SV, MSSV, Số Báo
Danh, lớp)
b. Trang 2 ghi nội dung đề.
c. Các trang tiếp theo là nội dung tiểu luận, nội dung trình bày bám theo nội dung
yêu cầu câu hỏi. Gồm các nội dung chủ yếu:
i. Mở đầu/Đặt vấn đề
ii. (Các nội dung trả lời tương ứng với các yêu cầu chi tiết trong đề thi…)
iii. Kết luận (nếu có)
d. Trang cuối là danh mục tài liệu tham khảo.
5. Yêu cầu nộp bài:
a. Mỗi sinh viên làm 1 đề theo danh sách thi đã được ghi mã đề
b. Đặt tên file gồm mã đề và họ tên. VD: De1_MasoSV_HovaTen.pdf
c. Nộp bài dưới dạng file pdf trên hệ thống LMS của trường
d. Thời hạn nộp bài: hạn chót 11 h 00, ngày 16/11/2021
