How gender differences affect communication?

How men and women differ when it comes to communication? This question is
one of the hot catechisms that we will encounter when talking about gender differences.
There are some studies that show how dissemination was affected by one’s gender and
they are believable since there are ample times that we blatantly experienced and
observed that in our environment and in ourselves.

Human’s physical, emotional, and cognitive aspect explained why there are
variegated characteristics of men and women that stand apart from each other. Factors
that affect their communication were studied, and that include brain size, sides of the
brain, and others. Since men and women have their own unique way of transmitting
information, understanding verbal and non-verbal communication, and sharing meaning,
it is hard to build strong relationship and bridge the gap between them.

Differences in women’s and men’s nature of communication is inevitable and

constant. Men tend to focus more on the process rather than the relationship, but
women tend to set their attention in building relationship. Men are more direct compared
to women. However, women frequently behave in a detailed manner. Women pay more
devotion than men to the underlying significances about intimacy that messages infer. It
is observable that men and women differ in many areas of communication, but their
differences attract them to each other despite of their contrasting styles in
communication.
