Take note of these terms to effectively create links!

How can I see my performance?
Generating Reports: Conversions
Use this feature to know how many people purchased in Shopee using your link

How will I know if I fall under Registered or Unregistered?

General Questions
1. How do I make affiliate links?
○ There are 3 ways to create your affiliate links! Earn extra commissions when you promote links of our featured brands under
brand offers! Check out this deck to learn more about link generation!

2. What does last click attribution mean?


○ It means that if someone clicks on your link and browses around the Shopee app, but doesn’t checkout, your status as the
last touch channel “expires” after 7 days.
○ This means once someone clicks on your tracking link, their checkouts have to be made on the Shopee app within 7 days for
it to contribute to your commission.

3. If buyers enter Shopee via my personal tracking link but did not purchase the item I was promoting, and makes a totally
different category purchase, will I still earn commission?
○ Yes, buyers are allowed to purchase other items besides the one that you are promoting. You will still earn the commission
(based on the purchased product’s category) as long as they make the purchase through your link.
○ Ideally, the products would have to be purchased together in a single purchase because if the buyer purchased the items in
different checkout sessions, the buyer would need to click through your link each time to get commission for all the products

4. If buyers enter Shopee via my brand offers link but did not purchase the item I was promoting, and makes a totally
different category purchase, will I still earn commission?
○ You will not be earning the extra brand commissions, however Shopee standard commissions will still apply.

General Questions
1. Can I generate and share more than 1 link, i.e., to promote 2 products at the same time?
○ Yes, you can generate and share as many personalised product links via New Affiliate Platform as you wish. The more links
you share, the higher the possibility for you to earn commission.

2. Can I have multiple accounts?


○ Creating multiple accounts is NOT ALLOWED in the program. This may result in fraud tagging, and eventual freezing of your
affiliate account.

Account Setup
1. I can’t wait to join the Shopee Affiliate Program. Where do I sign up?
○ To sign up, just go to the Shopee Affiliate Website: https://affiliate.shopee.ph/

2. Do I need to have a Shopee account before signing up?


○ Yes, it is a requirement to be able to proceed with account registration.

3. What should I input for my username?


○ Your username must be your Shopee account username. If you do not know your Shopee username, you may check it on your
Shopee app under My Profile.

4. What is website URL?


○ Your website URL is the link to your social media page (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, etc.). This URL is to give us reference as to
which platform you will mainly use to promote your recommendations. However, feel free to share your URL on other
platforms by clicking on “+ Website URL”.

5. What do I input for “Partner Type Vertical”?


○ Just select “Blogger/Social Media”.

6. What if I want to add more “Category Vertical you want to promote”?


○ If you want to add more categories or you just simply changed your mind, you can go to your account setting and edit your
preferred category under “Category niche”.

Partnerize Accounts
1. What happens to my old Partnerize links?
○ Your links generated via Partnerize will be terminated by May 2021. You would have to manually replace all links shared on
your social media accounts if you wish to continue earning from the promotion of these products. We suggest to update your
initial Partnerize links with tracking links from the new platform as soon as you have officially migrated and created your new
account.

2. How will commissions be transitioned from Partnerize to the new platform?


○ For commissions above the $50 threshold, we will still proceed with the validation and payment process via Partnerize —
which will be directly paid to your bank account.

3. My Partnerize commission is below the $50 threshold, how will I withdraw this?
○ The earnings will be transferred to your Shopee Affiliate account for commissions under $50, provided that you were able to
fill out the transfer form last May 2021.

Payment Setup, Validation & Payment Process (1/2)
1. What are the requirements for me to be eligible for payment? ?
○ The requirements depend on whether you are: (1) BIR-Registered or (2) Unregistered.
○ Please refer to Slide 34 to see the full list of requirements.

2. Why am I required to setup and verify my ShopeePay account?


○ ShopeePay will mainly be utilized for transferring your net payout, especially for net commissions of ₱100k and below.
Verification is required to ensure that your account will be able to receive a maximum of ₱100k per month.

3. How come my ShopeePay account was not verified?


○ For more information regarding ShopeePay verification, click here. For concerns regarding ShopeePay, please reach out to the
in-app customer support for proper assistance.

4. What does it mean by “Validation takes up to 2 months”?


○ This is the time taken for order and conversion status to be updated to ensure that transactions through your links follow the
SAP Terms and Conditions.
○ This is also the process of validating successful orders and identifying cancelled orders, returned orders, orders marked as
fraud and rejected. Validation is done in bulk for every month’s transactions and commission is only finalized after validation
is done.

5. Why are Shopee and Affiliate Marketing Solution (AMS) commissions filed separately via invoice?
○ Your monthly payout is classified based on commission type. To comply with the finance process of Shopee, invoice and
payment will be processed separately. 43
Payment Setup, Validation & Payment Process (2/2)
1. Why are there (2) payment methods for payout processing?
○ Payment method is classified based on the net commission amount that you will receive. Net commissions worth ₱100k and
below will be processed via ShopeePay, while net commissions of ₱100k and above will be processed via Bank Transfer since
the monthly inflow limit of ShopeePay is currently only until ₱100k.

2. How will I know if I have received my payment already?


○ Don't worry, you will be informed of the payment method during invoice generation. If via ShopeePay, you will be able to
receive an app notification. For Bank Transfer, this will be directly confirmed via email from your bank.

3. How will I withdraw my commission upon validation?


○ No need to withdraw, as commissions will be automatically released to your ShopeePay account

4. What is the difference of Gross and Net Commission on the Dashboard and Billing Tab?
○ Gross Commission refers to the total payable commission prior to validation. Net commission will show payable commission
after validation which excludes already cancelled, fraud and rejected transactions.
○ Note: For payment processing, gross amount will show the final commission payout after validation; net amount will reflect
the final payment after tax / vat computation.

5. How do I know the status of my application for vendor accreditation?


○ You will receive a confirmation email once you’ve submitted your application. If there are any additional
requirements, the team in charge of VA will reach out to you via email. Kindly provide missing requirements by
updating your responses in the form. Once approved, you will receive an email notification as well 44
Conversion and Click Reports
1. Why does the reflected amount in the dashboard different from the total payout that I received?
○ Gross Commission refers to the total payable commission prior to validation. Net commission will show payable commission
after validation which excludes already cancelled, fraud and rejected transactions. To know how to generate the commissions
and clicks reports to view the accurate performance, check out 26-31.

2. Why did I receive deductions from my payout?


○ That's because orders/conversions are only tracked when the order is paid and the item is successfully received by the
customer. In the event that the customer cancels the order, no commission will be recorded.

3. I think some of the orders made by followers were not recorded, what can I do?
○ You may report such instances. In reporting untracked orders, you should include an Order ID and a video that your item is
received.

Vendor Accreditation Form (VAF)
1. Why should I submit a vendor accreditation form (VAF)?
○ The VAF is a mandatory requirement for all affiliates. Your commission cannot be released without submitting the form.

2. I already submitted my information using the old form, should I submit again?
○ We highly recommend that all Ambassadors submit this form as it contains information more related to your release of
commissions.

3. Who should I put under Alternate Contact Person?


○ For Individuals, 1st - 2nd degree relatives are preferred. For companies, other authorized individuals we can speak to for
concerns with payment.

4. I don’t have two (2) valid government IDs, what else can I submit?
○ If you have no other valid government ID, you can submit a birth certificate. For students, student ID and birth certificate is
acceptable.

5. Why can’t I attach any files?


○ Keep in mind that the form only accepts PDF, images, and document files.

Vendor Accreditation Form (VAF)
1. What if I don’t have a copy of my passbook or bank statement?
○ You can send a screenshot of your bank account that shows your Account Name and Account Number.

2. How will I know if my accreditation form is approved?


○ You will get an email once your application is submitted. You will also receive a notification if your application is completed,
declined, or if our approvers are requesting for more information.

3. How do I know the status of my application for vendor accreditation?


○ You will receive a confirmation email once you’ve submitted your application. If there are any additional requirements, the
team in charge of VA will reach out to you via email. Kindly provide missing requirements by updating your responses in the
form. Once approved, you will receive an email notification as well.

4. Why was my application denied?


○ Kindly check if you were able to provide all necessary documents required. Should you have any questions, please reach out
