Marikina Shoe Industry & Globalization

Marikina is a city located on the eastern border of Metro Manila. Some people

are knowing the place of Marikina, because of having and creating an shoe it is called

Marikina shoe industry. According to the case study of Marikina shoe industry that I’ve

read, this is functionated as a small modesty cluster of firms. For this place where is a

residential region and furthermore it is currently considered of the wealthiest

government in our country. The people in Marikina known with a good manner, have a

responsible and also have a respect it is because to the adaptation for their past

behavior. I can say that the industry in Marikina have some problem this is the failure of

the cluster it means that the market decline. We all known that the issue or the crisis of

the industry can affect specially the workers, although the process is better / easy to

understand now that before it can help for easy to be considered how the adjustment for

the proper managed. Based on my research about the Marikina shoe industry, in

September last year before the pandemic spread in our country. The Marikina mayor

announced his city’s shoe industry remained lucrative as it was attracting the people

because of the affordable shoes they’ve seen. But the pandemic come, the Marikina

affect because 80 percent is stop making a shoe and the 20 percent continue because

they’re using a digital device through online selling.

In generally the Marikina shoe industry it can help, because it provides the

needs of the people and for additionally making shoes contributes to the development

of their city. I realize that the unity of the people is very important because it can help us

to achieve what their deserve in the future . We all known that the globalization has an

advantage specially can help us to grow and improve our knowledge. This globalization

it can changes the nature of our economic specially in business.
