Creating a Condition Contract for Multiple

Customers as Contract Partners

CREATING A CONDITION CONTRACT FOR MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS AS CONTRACT PARTNERS

Condition contracts can be used to grant rebate payments for a customer


based on different criteria, for example, if you reach a specific sales
business volume.

(1) Choose the Maintain Contract – Condition Contracts tile.

(2) To create a new contract, choose Create.

(3) Open the Condition Contract Type list to select the contract type.

(4) To create a condition contract for multiple customers, select Sales Rebate - Multiple
Customers.

(5) Choose Continue.

(6) To specify the start date of the contract, open the date picker.

(7) Select the start date 20-July-2017.

(8) To specify the end date of the contract, open the date picker.

(9) Select the end date 31-December-2017.

(10) Choose the Sales tab.

The sales organization, distribution channel and division for your contract.
have been entered for you.

Condition Contract has already been selected for you in the Condition
Table field.

(11) To insert a condition, choose New condition.

(12) An empty row is created in table. Enter the condition type, RES1 and press Enter.

Note: The condition type RES1 is used to calculate the base volume for payment.

(13) Enter 2 in the Condition Rate field and press Enter.

(14) To specify the scale type, open the Scale Basis list.

(15) Select the scale type B (Value scale).

(16) Choose Copy.

(17) To create a scale, select the condition type RES1.

(18) Choose New Scale Level.

A new row is created. Here you can maintain the different scale values for
the chosen condition type.

Two scale values have been entered for you.

Additionally, the condition type REA1 is also entered for you.

This condition is used to calculate the amount for accruals.

(19) To maintain the criteria for business volume, select the Business Volume Selection
Criteria tab.

(20) To specify a new criteria, choose New line.

(21) To maintain a customer as criteria, select 0001 (Customer).

Here, you enter the customers that are relevant for your business volume
criteria. You can enter multiple rows to specify different customers.

Similarly, you can maintain other selection criteria.

Customers 10100003 and 10100008 and the material TG11 are included
in the selection criteria for business volume.

(22) Choose the Settlement Data tab.

The settlement material TG11 has been entered for you.

Note: The settlement material is only needed if business volume is not


available or no invoice documents are created for a defined settlement
date.

Ensure the Settlement Type Customer is set to As Accounts Receivable.

(23) Choose the Settlement Calendar tab.

(24) Select New Line.

Here, you enter the settlement dates.

The final settlement is already set for 31-December-2017.

Similarly, you can enter settlement dates for 'Partial Settlements' and
'Delta Accruals'.

(25) Choose Continue.

Here, settlement calendars for partial settlement, delta accruals and final
settlement is maintained for you.

(26) To release the contract for use, choose Release.

A success message shows that a new contract with a new contract


number is created.

(27) Choose Continue.
