INTRODUCTION

The innovation and advancement of technology in our world today seems to be

unstoppable. Wherever we look, we can see a hint of technology, as it is now a
big part of everything that we do in our daily lives. That is why it brought a huge
amount of change in our education today. According to Rasty(2013) “There is an
argument that traditional learning is the best way of maintaining a learning
process. Other models are always considered to be inferior or less efficient.” (p.
1) But with our advanced technology today, traditional learning is being
compared to ELearning. ELearning is said to be “a new form of learning that
uses the affordances of the Internet to deliver customized, often interactive,
learning materials and programs to diverse local and distant communities of
practice. ” (Nicholson, 2007). ELearning may include some of the processes in
traditional learning but they have a lot of differences.

Many schools all over the world are using ELearning as a method of teaching and
it is said to have a positive effect on the student’s commitment to their learning
process. ELearning offers diverse learning solutions through different ways and
styles that build a new perspective of how learning should be. This paper intends
to show the effectiveness of E-Learning on academic performances of students,
acquisitions of diverse learning skills and innovation of teaching styles and new
implementations.
