MANPOWER

Manpower planning. This method according to LaMarco (2018), consists of putting


the right number of people, the right kind of people at the right place, right time,
doing the right things for which they are suited for the achievement of goals of the
organization. Manpower planning has to be a systems approach and is carried out
in a set procedure. With this, Sweet Lab-Er should focus on putting the correct person
with the correct specialization in the correct work. This is to increase workforce and
productivity allowing the business to move in a straight direction and onwards to the
next step. Manpower planning will allow opportunities for growth not only for the
company but also for the employees.

I would also like to suggest that the company should anticipate the company’s
future needs. This involves determining how to grow the business and take it to the
next level in terms of labor force. By anticipating their future needs they open
opportunities to people through hiring when there are critical vacancies. This allows
you to plan ahead, prepare for the future, and retain your competitive edge.
