Session 2021-2022
The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, invites online applications from eligible candidates for
admission to MBBS and BDS program in Government Medical and Dental Institutions of the Punjab, for
the Session 2021-2022. The conditions shall be as follows:

1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The candidate has:
i. passed HSSC (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with minimum 65 per cent
(715/1100) marks. In accordance with the directions of Pakistan Medical Commission
(PMC), the candidates awaiting their HSSC Special Examination or A-Level (November
2021 Series) Examination result can also apply provided they fulfil other eligibility
requirements as laid down below:
ii. domicile certificate of any district of Punjab. Candidates having domicile of Islamabad
(ICT) can apply on open merit seats only;
iii. passed the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) conducted by the PMC
with minimum 65 per cent (137/210) marks. The repeating candidates can use their
MDCAT-2020 scores subject to equivalence of the same by the PMC.
iv. In addition to the aforementioned criteria, the candidates seeking admission on quota seats
shall have to fulfil, as a pre-requisite, additional eligibility requirements for respective
quota as stipulated in the Prospectus for the Session 2021-2022 (available at UHS Website:
www.uhs.edu.pk).
2. MERIT CALCULATION:
The weightage criteria for calculation of Aggregate Percentage shall be as follows:
SSC/Matriculation/Equivalent Examination - 10%
HSSC Pre-Medical/ Equivalent Examination(Three Science Subjects Only) - 40%
MDCAT - 50%
3. HOW TO APPLY:
Step 1: Go to the link: https://www.bop.com.pk/UHS-2021/Login.aspx
Step 2: Sign-up for an account using your E-mail ID and a Password;
Step 3: Enter your particulars on the application form. You shall also give your preference for the
colleges. A candidate can select all or as many colleges he/she wishes to enter (depending
upon the category of seats) while giving his/her Order of Preference. The “Order of
Preference” once given shall be final and cannot be changed subsequently. An applicant
shall not be considered for a college he/she has not listed in his/her Order of Preference.
Step 4: ‘Huffaz-e-Quran’ and ‘Candidates with Disabilities’ must tick the relevant box in the
application and upload required documents. They will be informed about venue, date and
time of the Hifz-e-Quran Test/Medical Board by E-mail.
Step 5: Upload scanned document (Max. Size: 2 MB/each document) as stipulated in the
Prospectus.
Step 6: Verify the filled information and attachments. Once the application is submitted, you will
not be able to edit it.

Step 7: Submit the online application. A confirmation notification will be received on your E-mail
address. Take a print-out of the submitted application marked as the ‘Final Copy’ on top of
it.
Step 8: Visit any branch of The Bank of Punjab, with the ‘Final Copy’ of submitted application and
fee challan, to deposit Admission Processing Fee of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable).
Application process is complete now.

5. IMPORTANT:
i. Applications shall only be received through online portal. Print-out of application and paid
fee voucher need not to be submitted to the University but should be kept for record.
ii. Any candidate found to have submitted forged/fake/fabricated documents or incorrect/false
information shall be debarred from admission for a period of 7 years.
iii. Incomplete applications or those submitted in violation of the prescribed procedure shall be
rejected. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to submit correct and complete
application with all mandatory documents as stipulated in the Prospectus within the assigned
timeline.
iv. Please carefully go through the Prospectus for the Session 2021-2022 (available at UHS
website: www.uhs.edu.pk) before applying for admission.

v. It is clarified for information of all candidates that their admissions shall remain absolutely
provisional till 10th February, 2022.
vi. All the Merit and Selection Lists will be displayed on UHS website (www.uhs.edu.pk). No
call letters/E-mails/SMS will be sent to individual candidates regarding their selection or
non-selection.
