Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most famous Portuguese soccer players in the
world. He lives and plays in Italy, in the Juventus Football Club. He is the highest
paid footballer in the world and in the history of football.

Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985 in Funchal, in Portugal. He weighs 80

kilos and is 1.85 tall. He is tall, thin but muscular. He has brown eyes and short
black hair. He is a fan of bingo and video games. He likes collecting cars, fashion
and music. He loves going to the beach, travelling by boat and dancing with
his friends. He doesn’t like drinking alcohol, smoking, horses and
motorcycles. He is not married but engaged to Georgina Rodriguez.

He has a fantastic career: at 17, he began to play for the ‘Portuguese Super
League.’ In 2003, he became the first young player to be paid 12 million pounds
to play for Manchester United. He has also played for the Real Madrid. He has
won different awards: the FIFA world player of the year award (the Ballon d’Or),
the Golden Boot (European player of the year), and he has been the UEFA Club
Forward of the Year.

He is so famous that in June 2010 he was given a wax statue at the Madame
Tussaud’s museum in London. Moreover, in his hometown, there is a museum,
called « Museu CR7 », containing his trophies, medals, or rare pictures.

But Ronaldo is not just a football player. He does other things: he started to
work on his own fashion line (for his boutique named « CR7 ») a few years ago,
and is a model for men’s wear. He also gives money to charities and
associations. He has funded schools in Gaza and is also the Ambassador to
associations like « Save the Children » and « The Mangrove Care Forum » in
Indonesia.
