According to the Mini-IPIP Scale test let an individual know what personality they have by estimating

each level of their five broad personality domains of the Five-Factor Model- Openness,
Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. I been thinking if I take this test in a
timely manner, surely the results can be a reliable one and maybe if this test is like “basta-bastahan” the
results will not be what one expects them to be. Earlier this day, I took the Mini-IPIP test which took me
about 30 minutes to one hour to complete. As I gathered the scores, I was thinking that it will show that
I am an ambivert type of person. Once I received the results, I was shocked to see that I score 10 (low) in
extraversion because I feel and see myself as an ambivert a balance between introvert and extrovert.
The test pointed out that I received a high score in openness, conscientiousness, agreeableness and
neuroticism, but scored low in extraversion. When my received my results, I was shocked because my
expectation was the complete opposite. I wish I had someone to explain to me why my view and the
test results were different when I took the time to complete all 20 questions. I conclude that doing this
self-report cannot be reliable compare to having a psychologist test an individual.

I frequently ask myself if I am being the person I want to be in life and whether the life choices I make
will bring me closer to my goal. The answer I get has a lot to do because of my personality traits. My
personality is a mix of unstable and stable qualities, accompanied by a flawed point of view, but you'll
always find some sort of delight along the way. I may not always be happy with who I am, but I am who I
am because of my personality, and I wouldn't change a thing about myself.
