In this year, La Sallete Roxas College, Inc. celebrates the 64th Founding Anniversary Celebration of our
school with the theme of "Super Salettinians in the New Normal: Thriving and Fighting!” Even in the
midst of the pandemic, we are still celebrating and commemorating this special day. The celebration was
done through Virtual Foundation Ceremony with an opening pray, singing national anthem, story on how
our school started, and showcasing the proudly Sallettinian Students through virtual parade.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world and the ways we live, work, and learn. It affects each
aspect of our daily life making the transition of embracing the new normal way of living in this situation.
Learning in this new normal is a big challenge for us. Blended learning is the use of technology with the
combination of online and offline learning techniques. Online is when students study alongside their
teacher and classmates via video camera application, whereas offline is when the teacher provides the
students with the lesson, seatwork, or assignment, which they may do at their own time within the
deadline. All assignments are submitted and graded online. This method of learning brought by the
COVID-19 epidemic may be an additional burden at this difficult period.

But we students must adapt to this new normal way of learning. We should be resilient, patient and
always open to changes especially in learning. Being calm and carrying on will help us all get through
this difficult time. Let us keep on moving forward with studying and focus on achieving our goals every
day. Our goal is not to get back to normal, but to build a better society where everyone can safely live,
work and learn. In this new normal, we, Super Sallettinians will keep on Thriving and Fighting for the
Better Future!
