Pasan ang mundo

na ako’y tulungan sa bawat suliranin

nawa’y kabigatan alisin

at puso’y patatagin

madilim man ang aking pinagdaanan

ito naman nagbunga ng katatagan

ipinakita sa akin ang kagandahan

ng bawat suliraning ating piangdadaanan

1. “Grades should be accurate, consistent, meaningful and supportive of learning”

- For us this phrase means, grades of every students ccomputed by teachers should be
accurate and reflected based on the student’s performance and what supposedly their
grades , because we all know that students have different attitudes when it comes in
learning, some of them are very serious and competitive but some of them also are very
chill or not taking their studies seriously, therefore giving grades to students must be
appropriate to avoid any mistakes and make sure that students will get what they deserved.
Furtheremore , grades of students should also inclined to the given competencies when it
comes in academic and non-academic categories, this is very important for the reason that it
helps every students reflect and realize the things that they need to improved as well as
help them to expand their capabilities and skills. Moreover, grades should be consistent to
make sure that the purpose and policies of school are acquired by the students and to make
sure that the performance of student’s would not be wasted and ignored. Also grades
should be meaningful because grades is the basis if the students are going forward or if
there’s a progress happening in their studies, as well as to the teachers know if they became
effective source of learnings. Lastly , grades should be supportive learning, it serve as a
motivation of every students, to strive for more when it comes in learning.

2. “To include non-academic criteria, such as the student’s effort, compliance, attitude, or
behavior, makes the grade impossible to interpret in any meaningful way.”
- Since the essence of valid assessmement is graded based only on the students academic
achievement, including the non-academic criteria is hard because sometimes the behaviors
or the students are subjectively witnessed by some teachers, interprets and judges through
a culturally specific and biased lens, that’s why it is said that the grade is impossible to
interpret on, only meaningful way especially to some teachers who are rarely involved with
their students. Therefore teachers should think of a way that would make non-academic
criteria valid when it comes in giving grades, without any questions and avoid any
objection, teachers should ask an agreement that non -academic will be part or include in
grading system.

education students deeply understand the importants of creating, applying and
implementing the activities or assesamnet to the students. Moreover, this will help them
