Course Description:
This course is designed for students learning English as a second language at
secondary level to acquire and develop the English language knowledge and skills.
The aim of the syllabus is to prepare students to use English for their professional
studies in the Higher Education (University studies) and consequently for their
professional needs in real life and work. This preparatory course will further give
the students the opportunity to speak on general topics as they can use it in daily
life. The course aims at developing a wide range of communication skills, which
cover communication in real life situations.
Course materials:
Adapted materials will be use in class, linked to the topic areas studied. Topic-
based self-access resources (authentic print, pictures and handouts) dictionaries
are also available.
