‫خالل المستقبل القريب‪ ،‬وذلك بوضع برامج بيئية مبتكرة ّ‬
‫مئويتين‪ ،‬بالرغم من التكلفة العالية لتحقيق ذلك الهدف‪.‬‬

‫أن مؤسسات البيئة المعنية في العالم‬‫مؤخ ًار في مدينة نابولي بإيطاليا‪ّ ،‬‬
‫لقد كشف المؤتمر العالمي للبيئة‪ ،‬الذي ُعقد ّ‬

‫أن المواجهة الناجحة في هذا المضمار ستشمل على نحو فعال‪ ،‬األشكال المختلفة‬ ‫المجتمعات البشرية‪ ،‬غير ّ‬
‫أن السيطرة التدريجية لالنبعاثات‬
‫المختص بعلم البيئة ّ‬
‫ّ‬ ‫لالقتصاد العالمي كالتجارة والصناعة والزراعة‪ .‬وأضاف الفريق‬
‫خاصة إذا ما قورنت بتكاليف عدم مواجهة هذا الخطر‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫التطور الصناعي يمكن تحقيقها بتكلفة زهيدة‪،‬‬

‫اإلدارة والتخطيط الهادفين إلى تحسين المحاصيل وتطوير أساليب الزراعة‪ ،‬واستعمال األسمدة العضوية‪ ،‬إوادارٍة أحسن‬
‫مهما للمزارعين في غذاء المواشي ولعمليات الفالحة إواصالح األراضي‬
‫مصدر ً‬

‫ّ‬ ‫تتعرض لالنقراض‪ ،‬وتختفي إلى األبد‬ ‫ّ‬
‫المعدل الطبيعي‪ ،‬وهذا بسبب عامل‬

‫المعدل الحالي لالنقراض يزيد بمقدار ألف ّ‬
‫ّ‬ ‫أن‬
‫قدر العلماء ّ‬

‫الوفيرة‪ُ .‬‬
‫يسبب هذا االرتفاع الرهيب في حاالت االنقراض‪ ،‬الجواب البسيط المرعب‬
‫واحد‪ .‬قد نتساءل عن هذا العامل الذي ّ‬
‫هو‪ :‬البشر‪.‬‬

‫حدث اآلن‬ ‫تغير المناخ‪ ،‬وهذه مشكلة خطيرة تَ ُ‬ ‫تسبب في ظاهرة االحتباس الحراري التي ّأدت إلى ّ‬ ‫نحن البشر من ّ‬
‫خطر هائالً‬
‫ًا‬ ‫ألننا من َب َدأها وال أحد غيرنا يستطيع إيقافها‪ .‬وهذه الظاهرة تش ّكل‬
‫تجنبها ّ‬
‫وتتفاقم باطراد‪ ،‬لكن نستطيع ّ‬
‫وتؤدي إلى فوضى بيئية‪.‬‬
‫بتغير سلوكها‪ّ ،‬‬
‫تهدد حياة الكائنات الحية باالنقراض أو ّ‬
‫على البيئة‪ ،‬فهي ّ‬

‫كان له تأثير سلبي على أنواع عديدة من الحيوانات‬ ‫أن التغير المناخي في عام‬
‫‪2003‬‬ ‫لقد َبّينت الدراسات العلمية ّ‬
‫اضطر بعض الكائنات إلى إحداث تغيير في سلوكها الطبيعي‪ ،‬كتغيير وقت الهجرة وعملية التلقيح‪،‬‬

‫والنباتات ّ‬
‫ألن سلوك الحيوانات وأوقات تكاثرها وهجرتها مرتبط بعضه‬
‫األمر الذي سوف يؤثّر في النظام البيئي السائد‪ .‬و ّ‬

‫سلبا في البيئة‪ .‬ومن أبرز ّ‬
‫ببعض‪ ،‬فأي تقديم أو تأخير في هذا السلوك سوف يؤثّر ً‬

‫أن هناك نوعاً من السناجب بدأ ُينهي فترة بياته الشتوي أبكر بثالثة أسابيع ّ‬

‫أن الكثير من األسماك بدأت تهاجر نحو المناطق الشمالية بحثاً عن مياه أبرد‪.‬‬ ‫المختصون ّ‬

‫كبر حجم تلك التي تعيش في المناطق الباردة‪ .‬كما أثّر التغير‬
‫حجما‪ ،‬في حين ُ‬
‫ً‬ ‫الحارة أصبحت أصغر‬
‫ّ‬ ‫األماكن‬
‫نوعا‬
‫ً‬ ‫‪70‬‬‫مما ش ّكل لها صعوبة في العثور على مأوى‪ ،‬وهنالك‬
‫المناخي في حاسة السمع لدى بعض أنواع األسماك‪ّ ،‬‬
‫التغيرات المناخية‪ .‬إضافة إلى ذلك فهناك خطر محدق بحيوانات المناطق الباردة‬
‫ّ‬ ‫من الضفادع انقرضت بسبب‬
‫مثل البطاريق والدببة القطبية بسبب سرعة ارتفاع ح اررة األرض‪ ،‬فقد قلّت أعداد بعض البطاريق التي ُيطلق عليها‬
‫أن الدببة القطبية تراجعت أعدادها وقلّت‬
‫اسم "اإلمبراطور" من ‪ 300‬زوج بالغ إلى ‪ 9‬فقط في القطب الشمالي‪ ،‬كما ّ‬
‫أوزانها‪.‬‬

‫دور‬
‫أن االحتباس الحراري يمكنه أن يلعب ًا‬ ‫وقد أ ّكدت دراسة أخرى في جامعة أمريكية بعد فحص الحفريات القديمة ّ‬
‫يتم من خالل االتّصال بين األنواع المختلفة من الكائنات داخل‬
‫التنوع الجيني بين الحيوانات‪ ،‬وهو الذي ّ‬
‫في تقليل ّ‬
‫ومهددة باإلصابة باألمراض وبالتالي‬
‫ّ‬ ‫الفصيلة الواحدة‪ ،‬وهذا يعني أن تتحول تلك الكائنات إلى مخلوقات ضعيفة‬
‫باالنقراض‪.‬‬

‫بعدة طرق‪ ،‬كالهجرة إلى مناطق‬

‫التكيف مع هذه الظاهرة ّ‬
‫وقد ّبين الباحثون ّأنه بالرغم من قدرة بعض الكائنات على ّ‬
‫فإن وجود اإلنسان في هذه المناطق جعل من الصعوبة على بعض هذه األنواع العيش في تلك‬ ‫الشمال مثالً‪ّ ،‬‬
‫يجيا في االختفاء‪.‬‬
‫المناطق‪ .‬وكنتيجة حتمية لذلك تعيش هذه األصناف معزولة وتبدأ تدر ً‬

‫كمن في ّأننا نستهلك الموارد الطبيعية المتاحة بوتيرة أسرع من قدرة األرض على إعادة تجديدها‪.‬‬
‫أما الخطأ األفدح َفي ُ‬
‫ويمتد هذا التهديد للحيوانات نفسها فيتقلّص عددها‪.‬‬
‫ّ‬ ‫ندمر مواطن الحيوانات‪ ،‬وغذاءها‪ ،‬ومياهها‪ ،‬وهواءها‪،‬‬
‫فنحن ّ‬

‫يهدد الحياة البرية على‬

‫ألنه ّ‬
‫وباإلضافة إلى االستهالك الكثيف لمواردنا الطبيعية‪ ،‬فهناك اتّجاه آخر أكثر مدعاة للقلق ّ‬
‫أرضنا‪ ،‬أال وهو االتِّجار غير المشروع بالحيوانات‪ ،‬فهذا النوع من التجارة غير المشروعة آخذ في االزدياد في السوق‬
‫ويؤدي ارتفاع الطلب على المنتجات المشتقّة من بعض الحيوانات البرية ليس فقط إلى تهديد حياة هذه‬
‫السوداء‪ّ .‬‬
‫أيضا إلى تدهور صحة الناس الذين يعيشون بالقرب منها وازدهارهم‪.‬‬
‫األنواع‪ ،‬بل و ً‬

‫حياتنا وحياتها متشابكتان ومتّصلتان‬ ‫أن‬

‫أن عالم الحيوانات منفصل عن حياتنا‪ ،‬ولكن الحقيقة هي ّ‬ ‫وقد يظن البعض ّ‬
‫بيئيا يعتمد‬
‫نظاما ً‬
‫ً‬ ‫احدا أو‬
‫بيولوجيا و ً‬
‫ً‬ ‫مجتمعا‬
‫ً‬ ‫بماليين الخيوط‪ ،‬فالنباتات والحيوانات والناس والبيئة بمجموعها تش ّكل‬

‫ّ‬ ‫فيه كل جزء على اآلخر لبقائه على قيد الحياة‪ .‬وعندما َيفقُد جزء من هذا المجتمع توازنه أو ينقرض‪،‬‬
‫بأكمله‪.‬‬

‫أيضا كبشر نش ّكل أملها الوحيد‪ ،‬إذ يقوم بعض األفراد‬

‫أن اإلنسان يمثّل أكبر تهديد للحياة البرية‪ ،‬فإننا ً‬
‫وعلى الرغم من ّ‬
‫المهَ َّددة باالنقراض‪.‬‬
‫بالتطوع للعمل مع منظّمات البيئة التي تساعد في حماية األنواع ُ‬
‫ّ‬ ‫والمجموعات في العالم أجمع‬
‫أمانا للحياة البرية‪،‬‬
‫وكذلك تسهم المنظمات الكبيرة والشركات والحكومات بحصتها في العمل على تحقيق مستقبل أكثر ً‬
‫وذلك من خالل خفض الطلب على المنتجات المستخرجة من الحيوانات‪ ،‬إواصدار وتطبيق قوانين لمكافحة االتّجار‬
‫غير المشروع‪.‬‬
