TAKING A SPORT AND WELLNESS CLUB FOR THE STUDENTS OF

I. INTRODUCTION
A sport is a competitive physical activity which aims to use, maintain or improve
physical ability and skills while providing entertainment to participants, and
spectators. Sports are governed by a set of rules or customs, which serve to
ensure fair competition, and allow consistent adjudication of the winner. Sports
can be an all form of activity that can make a person body healthy and active
in their lifestyle. As stated in the website of The University of South Dakota,
Wellness is an active process of increasing awareness and actively making
choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life. Practicing wellness is affirming and
encourages positive experiences. This process is individualized and self-directed
with the goal of reaching one’s ultimate potential.

There are ten dimension of wellness emotional wellness, social wellness,


intellectual wellness, spiritual wellness, occupational wellness, economic
wellness, environmental wellness, cultural wellness, climate wellness, and lastly
the related topic in this paper, physical wellness. Physical wellness refers to the
ability to maintain a healthy quality of life that allows us to get through our daily
activities without undue fatigue or physical stress (Aderonmu et al.)

Sports and wellness are a good contribution for both body and mind of the
students and teachers of the school to be physically fit and active in their
lifestyle. Taking this club class can develop their mind and team spirit to be more
friendly and helps to develop mental ang physical toughness. Nowadays, there
are not many students who have an active lifestyle and only focuses their
attention on social media therefore they’re forgetting to be physically fit and
starting to feel like an old people.

II. PURPOSE

The purpose of this paper will describe why they should take this class and how
will this class will improve their body by having a physically good shape, mind
and tough mental health. As well knowing how this paper will help them to
develop and improve them, by enhancing their well-being and to be an
inspiration to others. Promoting this project will lead students to have both good
grades and active body.

III. POJECT DESCRIPTION


The school will need a vacant room to implement this project and will need to
gathered the requirement of material that the students will use, staff should put
an instruction on how the materials will be handle and how will to keep it
properly and they will also take a person in charge to guide the students on their
improvement. Students will clean the materials and room after they use it to
maintain the cleanliness of it.

IV. OBJECTIVES
If the project is approved, the students are expected to improve a minimum skill
in the sports and wellness. They also will perform what they learn on the class to
see their improvement and advice what should be corrected and reach their
full potential as sports students.

V. METHODOLOGY
We have to seek the approval of this project to our teacher, after the approval
we will seek a random student to tell them and explain them what this project
are. We will also make a poster about this to spread it to the school to take part
in this club activity to gain more confidence in their skills and to learn more
about sports and wellness.
