 All of the definition has almost the same thought, Curriculum is the central guide for all
educators. It serves as an outline of concepts to be taught to students to help them meet the
content standards. Curriculum is what is taught in a given course or subject. Curriculum refers to
an interactive system of instruction and learning with specific goals, contents, strategies,
measurement, and resources. However, it differs when it comes to college and school principal
as their definition of curriculum also focuses about courses offered in a particular field of study,
compare to elementary grade teacher as the system of education does not offer courses. For the
Student teacher point of view, it is typically referring to the knowledge and skills students are
expected to learn, the meaning is almost the same to all the person that I’ve interviewed, it only
differs on the sentence the way it is constructed. All in all they have different way on how they
are going to define curriculum depending on their profession.
