1- Addition using number line :

Procedure:
Step 1: start with the number given in the question.
Step 2: see the second number , which place is
written(ones/ tens)
Step3: see the tens place and count that many times.
(10 counting)
Step 4: see the ones place and count that many times.
(1 counting)
Step 5: answer is derived.

2- Addition using split up :


Step 1- see the two numbers
Step 2- split the numbers into tens and ones
Step 3 – add all the tens
Step 4 – add all the ones
Step 5- add the final two numbers, answer is derived.

3- Addition using grid :


Step 1- see the number given and pick the first
number in the grid.
Step 2- see the ones and tens place for the other
number.
Step 3- jump that many times for the numberr in the
tens place ( coloum wise)
Step 4– from that jump towards right side (row wise)
that many count( ones counting)
Step 5- derived answer.

WHAT ARE NUMBER PAIRS/ BONDS?
When two numbers join together they are called number pairs.
When two part of number join together we get a whole number which is called as
number pairs.
We join them and find, how many are there in total.
We use number bonds / number trees to identify them.
