ABSTRACT

The hotel management of my project aims at making on

management which can be used by the customers and hotel managers they can
reserve hotel rooms and see the hotel visualization and to check the details of daily
hotel customers and employee details also can be checked.This system of hotel
management will help the administrative staff to keep the daily history and record
details of the customers in the Database which is used to store all the information
and data of the hotel.
Customer can also book the rooms from anyplace or where ever from all over
the world.
The website of the project will only allow the proper user because we need to
login to go inside the project only the correct user and password will be allowed to
access the the website of hotel project.
Hotel will be maintained in very clean and discipline way definitely all the
customer would bee liking the way of hotel maintenance and the way of employee
dealing the customers and room services are also having daily cleaning maintenance
of every day
This project of hotel management is also created for updating and deleting
the details when and where the authorization can add and delete the details easily in
the website itself it will also bee deleted from the database.

CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION

The hotel facility of this generation are highly developed by the technology as
per the generation development this hotel is also developed in the full advanced and
all the technology are also used to develope the hotel system for making customer
satisfaction the hotel management and the employees will always bee always able to
take the feedback from the customers and we will defenatly take all the feedbackes
from the customers which will be very usefull to hotel development and we will try
to improve and make changes accourding to the customer feedback .

This hotel is also having enough space of parking land at any time and we are
giving free of parking fees to all the hotel customers.

Hotel system of old generation was were good in food maintanance but not
in the desciplain or cleaning maintanace this generation hotels are always trying to
develope this kind of maintanance in a proper ways .

We are also providing best securty system of 24 hrs daily each and every day
the camera maintanace will bee in on at every floer and corner of the hotel the
securty and the protection is given by the hotel so customers need not to be worry
about the securty and protection even if the employe is missbehaving with the
customer every single movement will be watching by the aouthrazation of the hotel
& the hotel will also bee opend for 24 hrs day and night customers can any time
come and vicate the rooms by paying the payment accourding to the room and
provide the key back at help desk and the customer can vicate the room at any time
and it will also bee enterd in the log book of the hotel the name of the customer and
addres details.

1.1 General Introduction

In the hotel we have trained employees according to the taking care of the
customers so the employ know how to deal with the customers always with the
smile we have the best employees all over the world hotels According to that in the
hotel we also have help desk with one employee at 24hrs at any time the staff will be
ready to help the customers in this hotel we are giving the main importance to the
customers so that we get good satisfaction of customers and we also provide the
best thing that to bee taken for the satisfaction of customers.
Each and every instraction are strictly followed by the hotel rules by the
employees and we have dustbins at every corner of the hotel the customers are also
need to follow certain rules like throwing all the wastage in only the dustbin

1.2 Project Description

This project is firstly used to login by the user and by the correct
password so the website of the project will take the user to the main page where all
the details of the project can be enter d by the user like food section ,employee
section,room section & inventory section are been allocated accordingly so the user
can click on the perticulare field and go inside to that field and add or insert all the
details of the fields it will be stored directly in the hotel database so the user or
authrisoation of the hotel can see the details and supply the customer accourding to
there faciliteys .
After adding all the details the user can directly log out of the project or a
website
This project is perticularlly designed for the customers & and employees or staffs of
the hotel to view the proper infromation of the customers.
This can also used to change the details of user or customer by using
update the new data to the same fields can also bee given and also can delete the
details of the user by selecting pirteculare id number .The project is coupled with
various tools such as jframes,drag and drop labels,my sql workbanch

1.3 Existing System

At present in hotels all the staffs work done by
manually .even when a guest or customer makes a reservation of rooms all the
reservation details are recorded and stored the data in the log books are
register books . and mainly at the end of the checkout of customers all the
calculations bellings may also be errors by the manually even for taking the old
records of the hotel inforamation or data will be very much deficult to find the all old
details of the hotel registerbooks or log books .
Keeping the manually records is more time consuming .
All data may not be properly stored it have errors like wrong phone no and
address details.
It is slow process of customer finding the room slot

1.4 Proposed System with Methodology

The methodology of the project describes the details of what are all the
methods are used in the proposed system with methodology in this project the
commenly used methodologys are database connection and swing method .the
database connection is used in the backend of the project to store all the data
accourding to the coustmar information the details of coustmer details will be stored
And the next method used is swing method in this method we are using jframes and
drag and drop the options like jlabel , jbutton ,textfeald etc .. are the commanly used
fields in the swing method

REVIEW OF LITERATURE
2.1 Review summary

The main concern of this review summary is to check all the

developments of the hotels and taking the full details according to the all over hotels
and developemts and that will be most usefull to make devlopemts in same as the your
hotel and we can also make the coorect assumtion of the hotel and also for making
proper changes in the review summary we can give each section as diffrent review
and there are diffrent summarys like food section ,employee section ,room
section,inventroy section so that all the review by the guest must be taken by the
authorization and they should make changes according to that.
Firstly we are going to see the food section review summary this
details of summary will be on like different types of food chefs like
north,south,chines etc . may types are available so that we can give any quality
checking of review and make changes by taking the review summary
Now we are going to see the employee section review summary in
this we will take the review as the employees and other staff of the hotel making any
indeciplain activites so that they can also make review of the employee section o this
base
Room section review will be based on the daily cleaning and
maintance of the room by incharge of the hotel and making the coorect review is one
of the most important thing to be followed by the hotel maintance
Invantory section this slot is based on the store room wt are all the
things are stored in the store room is one of the most important thing and chaking
expared date by day by day is also most sufficent in the invantry section

CHAPTER 4

MODULE DESCRIPTION

4.1 Module 1 (Login page)

We need to develop the project such that it doesn’t allow an unauthorized

user to access the data from the hotel management project.for that we have given
the secure login in this module.so that it can be verifyed by user and password
before getting into the project according to this generation it is very important to
secure the project from the unauthorization persons so that it can be missbehaved
by the unauthorization people so it is very much important to give access to only the
authorised people of hotel.

4.2 Module 2 (Food section)

In this section we are giving the details of the food like what are all the needs
as per the customer they can use the portal and select the food items and cost of the
food so it will be easy to store the data in the database and it will also be easy for
belling system to calculate the over all bill of the each and every customer and also
can be very easy way of to take order of the foods and details .

4.3Module 3(Employee section)

Employee section will be storing all the details of the employees working
at the hotel and the staffs as per the allocated slotes in the different fildes and all
the salary package of the staffs and employees are also stored In the database so
that we can make payment details accourding to the database mentioned salary for
all the employees all the salary package will be based on there experince of the hotel

4.4 Module 4(Inventory section)

The inventory section is used to keep track all the stored materials and
extra materials like bed , pellows , vegitables according to the hotel maintanace so
that that then and there we can verify all the materials and stock in and out
materials and purchace according to the inventory section and make ready all the
stocks as per the time at the hotel so that the hotel maintance can be done in a
proper way .

CHAPTER 7

SYSTEM TESTING

7.1 Test Cases

System testing comes under the integrated software testing .when the
application is error-free then it can run the software at speed by going throw the
system testing we can run the application to be error-free
Unit testing:
It tests every individual module of the application design it is also similar to
coding after the source have been recived and verifyed it hase been developed codes
can be reused as well.
Validation testing:
Validation testing is done in the finale stage of determination whether it
satisfyes the customer recquarements by doing this we can ensure the application
meets the customers needs.
Integrated testing:
Integrated testing is also a part of the unit testing it is itegrated with
programing logic it checks and verify the working of the project it helps to identify
the problems and mainly occurs during the combination
They are 2 types of approches in the integrated testing
Top down & Bottom up
Accepting testing:
This is a type of Test done for accepting and this is done after system
testing before the executing.
There are different types of testing done in this are:
Internal acceptance testing this is also known as alpha testing which is
performed by the organization .

External acceptance testing is performed by the non organization

employees.User acceptance testing is also known as beta testing and done by the
end -users of the applications

RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS

8.1 Conclusion

I have developed an user friendly simple and easy way to know about
the hotel management it is capable of taking care of the work of the employee which
is given to it.after completing all the process like designing, moduling ,testing and
executing the conclusion is given and created the developed project can be keeping
contacts number and secure the user login and password .this project ensures the
information regarding the hotel management all the data and the information of the
employees and the contact details will be higely secured by the database only the
authorized user and correct password can give the details of the hotel.

8.2 Future Enhancements

The project is made in a way of that a developer can add and change his
details in the feature also the future code hase been given in the formate of the
coding it can limated by introducing the new modules in the projects .for the future
developments we should always follow the customer feedback to develop the future
enhancement and also we should make changes accourding to that and develope
the source of the project so it will be well developed in the future .
