What Geological feature/s does/do our chosen location

have?

Angeles is a profoundly urbanized city and one of the most monetarily progressed metropolitan
centers in the country. Located within the province of Pampanga, the city is bordered by Clark
Freeport Zone and Mabalacat toward the north, Mexico toward the east, San Fernando toward the
southeast, Bacolor toward the south and Porac toward the southwest. In a weakness evaluation
investigation of Pampanga in 2012, Angeles was relatively flat viewed as susceptible to a several
natural hazards, including typhoons, rain-induced landslides, and volcanic and seismic activity.
Angeles city has a two season one is Wet season from May to November and Dry season from
December to April. In June 15, 1991 a volcano erupted. Thousands of families were affected by this
eruption. 14,197 Families are affected only in Angeles City and around 8,260 houses were destroyed
while around 73 thousands were partially damage. After the eruption we got a consecutive rains
makes it harder for people to evacuate. Many Transportation, Communication, Power and
Electrification, Water Resources, and Social infrastructure were damage by this eruption.

 When Mount Pinatubo erupted in year 1991 many farmland destroyed by falling ash and
pumice, unusable for years and around 650 thousand people lost their jobs because of this

What is the general effect of the geologic event whenever it happens?

We can say that lava flows and lahars can destroy settlements and clear areas of agriculture or
woodland and destroy houses. This event can kill many people, and economic activity can suffer and
harder to operate a business after the eruption.

Would this be the same effect if the geologic event happens again on our location?
Probably yes. We can see that almost all volcanic eruptions destroy houses, buildings, bridges, and
many more. Many people will die, and agriculture will be destroyed due to poisonous gas.
