Dear Lingling Tian

Editor-in-Chief
Journal of BMC Gastroenterology

Hereby, we would like to submit an original review article entitled RECENT ADVANCES IN
THE DIAGNOSIS OF INTESTINAL TUBERCULOSIS for consideration by the Journal of
BMC Gastroenterology. We confirm that this work is original and has not been published
elsewhere, nor is it currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

We believe that this manuscript is appropriate for publication by the Journal of BMC
Gastroenterology because our manuscript describes various novel modalities available for
diagnosing intestinal tuberculosis. Hopefully, by using this review article clinicians can combine
history taking, physical examination, conventional examination, and the latest molecular-based
examination to improve the accuracy of diagnosis and prevent the under-diagnosis of intestinal
tuberculosis.

We have no conflicts of interest to disclose.

Thank you for your consideration of this manuscript.

Sincerely,

Hasan Maulahela
