 STEP 1
Create an account

• Access the Electronic National Internship Program system

at apmcf-ph.net/enips
• Create your account and fill out the necessary details.
๏ On the -Select User Role-, drop down box, choose Medical
Student/Intern.
๏ Prepare a 1.5”x1.5” photo (business attire white background
with name tag) to be uploaded (1 soft copy) and submitted to
the Registrar’s Office (2 hard copies). Size should be less than or
equal 500kb.

 STEP 2
Payment

• Proceed to UG1 cashier and pay the application fee of

P2,000.00 & academic records fee of P300.00. You may opt
to pay through RCBC over the counter ONLY. No online
transactions.
At this point, you should have two receipts. Only actual receipts and
scanned receipts will be accepted. Scanned and printed receipts are
subject to review & approval by the Accounting Office.

 STEP 3
Account approval

• Once payment has been made, submit the 2 receipts & the 2
1.5”x1.5” photos at the Registrar's Office (Window 1). Receipts
& photos may be submitted by a representative on behalf of
the student. No authorization letter needed.
• Wait for the school to approve the application.
• Accounts will not be approved without the receipts.
• Kindly check your accounts from time to time for the approval status.
• If your account has not been approved within 3-4 working days,
please notify any of the RCCO officers immediately.
• If registration is approved, log into E-NIPS and update your
user profile by clicking the “Update User Profile” at the main
menu.

 STEP 4
Choose your hospital

• Once approved, you can now begin applying for internship

with a maximum of three (3) hospital choices.
• Click the “Apply for Internship” link at the main menu.
Complete your details at the internship registration form and
select the internship period you are applying for in the drop
down list labelled as “Internship Period”.
• Select hospital choices based on the following guidelines:
๏ First choice must always be filled out.
๏ You may fill out three hospital choices or select at least one hospital. (i.e., it is
allowable to select just one or two hospitals.
๏ Select a unique hospital for each choice. E-NIPS will not allow the selection of a
single hospital in 2 or more choices.
• Review your choices before submitting. Once submitted, the
dropdown boxes for hospital selection will be locked.

Submission of requirements

• The Registrar’s Office will be reviewing the submitted

internship applications and will be responsible for the
uploading of the electronic internship requirements before
forwarding it to APMC for internship matching.

 STEP 6
Application results

• The concerned hospitals will forward the list of accepted

interns to APMC.
• You may monitor the status of your internship by clicking
the “Monitor Internship Applications” link at the main
menu.

• You can do anything in the ER, all you do is ask and get
supervised by the resident in charge. They let you do
intubation, CTT insertion, etc.  because we rotated in RMC.
• Some departments allow you to admit patients and write
down doctor’s orders but will be checked by the resident-
in-charge.

• ER is always toxic. Good news is, you get to do a lot of things
especially if you are onto skills when you get to your PGIship. 
• PGIs may organize their PGI outing, but need to get funds for
it. There are events that PGIs are also invited to, and are
always involved in any department activity.
• 5/10 toxicity level is not that reliable, since I haven’t
experienced physical duty yet. My assessment is solely based
in online classes. But according to a midyear PGI who is also
