General target: Review numbers 0-99 and spelling

Spin a number
Target: Numbers 0 – 99
ETA: 30 min.
1. Students must have two spinners, one blue and the other one yellow. The former
represents tens; the latter units.
2. One student spin both spinners on a table to create combinations of numbers and
read it out loud. If the student read the correct number, gets a point and pass to
the others.
3. The one who gets more points is the winner.
 Tic Tac Toe
Target: Spelling
ETA: 30 min.

1. Divide students into two teams.

2. Each team must have a set of cards (20 for each team), place them down and
choose a marker.
3. The first student draws a card and read out loud the word on it to a student from
the rival team and write the letters spelled by the rival on the board. If the
opponent spells the word correctly, he or she draws a circle with the marker on
the board.
4. A student from the other team repeat the same instructions and if the opponent
spells the world correctly, draws a cross with the marker on the board.
5. The game continuous in the same way until one team get a tic tac toe.
Material:

 The same domino’s cards used in previous lessons.

 Markers.
 A tic tac toe game board.

OPTIONAL
Secret Code

Target: Alphabet
ETA: 20 min.

1. Each student must have a copy of the secret codes to resolve individually.
2. Sentences are coded with the letter that comes after the letters of the original
words.
