Brigada Eskwela and Brigada Pabasa

Day 3: September 3, 2021

Thirst, hotness of the sun and the threat of pandemic cannot hamper the
strong commitment and enthusiasm of the volunteers, teachers and administrator to
continue the “Brigada Eskwela plus Pabasa program” on its 3rd day.
The day-three activity last September 3, 2021 was another meaningful
movement of both school and stakeholders in preparation for the opening of classes
this school year 2021-2022. It was started at exactly 7:45 in the morning with a short
prayer and signing of attendance for the volunteer parents and other organizations.
The reading mentors on that day were also ready to entertain the learners of
upcoming grade 7 and grade 8 for the reading session. There were ___ students of
grade 7 and ___ students of grade 8 with the total of ___ students.
The 4.9 hectares school site of Gamut National High School is not a joke in
maintaining its cleanliness. The wide area of the school added burden and concern
to all teachers and administrator on how it will look clean all the time even this
modular type of classes. But with the help of virtuous people in the community all the
worries of the faculty had been erased. The appearance of the school is now clean
and organize and will look more conducive for learning as the brigada program will
last next week. The day-three activity ended magnificently at exactly 5:00 o’clock in
the afternoon. The volunteers and teachers may look tired but the joy and feeling of
fulfillment in their hearts were truly visible in their smile because of the valuable
achievement they gained that day.
The school administrator continues its prayers that the volunteer will not feel
any hesitation in participating the evocative program of the Department of Education.
May the stakeholders feel more passionate and willing to extend their time and
expertise for the benefits of the learners. May the true spirit of “Bayanihan” conquers
the soul of everybody so that the opening of classes this school year will run
smoothly and safety.
