5
Công thức:
Khẳng định S + V + (O) S : chủ ngữ ( chủ từ )
V : động từ
Phủ định S + do not/ don’t + V + (O) O : tân từ
S + does not/ doesn’t + V + (O) Lưu ý:
-“câu” có thể có tân ngữ (O) hoặc không
Nghi vấn Do/does + S + V + (O)? cần tân ngữ
Don’t/doesn’t + S + V + (O)? -“Do” ( các ngôi trừ ngôi thứ 3 số ít )
Do/does S + not + V + (O)? -“Does” ( ngôi thứ 3 số ít )

- Riêng ngôi thứ 3 (ba) số ít (he,she,it – Tom, John, Hoa…), ta cần lưu ý các quy tắc sau:

Ví dụ: He likes reading books.
She likes pop music.

S, X, Z, CH, SH, O (do, go) + ES

Ví dụ: miss misses

mix mixes
buzz buzzes
watch watches
wash washes
do does
go goes

Ví dụ: He often kisses his wife before going to work.

Tom brushes his teeth everyday.
(Y ----- Y + S)
We play She/he playes

Ví dụ: She plays the piano very well.

6
(Y ------ IES)
We carry She/he carries
They worry She/he worries

- Whenever, every time, every now and then, every now and again, every so often.
/s/ F,K,P,T
/iz/ S,X,Z,CH,SH,CE,GE + ES
/z/ Không thuộc hai loại trên
2. Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn (continuous present):

Công thức:
Khẳng định S + be + V-ing + (O) S : chủ ngữ ( chủ từ )
S + be (To be) +V-ing be: is, am, are (tùy các ngôi-thứ)
Ví dụ: V : động từ + đuôi ing
- I am dancing O : tân ngữ
- We/they/you are dancing
- He/she/it is dancing
Phủ định S + be + not V-ing + (O)

Nghi vấn Be + S + V-ing + (O)?

Chú ý: V-ing(Doing) = Động từ + ING

7
Ví dụ: visiting, going, ending, walking…
a. Nếu động từ có E câm ở cuối, ta bỏ E đi rồi mới them ING:
