along with or after a rheumatoid factor (RF) test. Rheumatoid factors are another

Synovial fluid, also called synovia, is a viscous, non-Newtonian fluid found in the
cavities of synovial joints. With its egg white–like consistency, the
principal role of synovial fluid is to reduce friction between the articular cartilage
of synovial joints during movement.

9. Explain what is citrullination and how is this process connected to rheumatoid

factor.
Citrullination or deimination of proteins is the reaction for converting the amino
acid arginine into the amino acid citrulline. This reaction is catalyzed by enzymes
called peptidylarginine deiminases
