conforntation
The storyline revolving around a mysterious woman,an innocent tou rist, a criminal on the run

Janus symbolism

The film manytimes uses symbolism revolving around the Roman god Janus.
At a dinner time in Venice, Frank asked Elise about bracelet she wore, and she replies:
It's the Roman god, Janus. My mother gave it to me when I was young. She wanted to teach
me that every people have two sides. A good side, a bad side, past, a the future. And that we
must accept both side in someone we love.
At the end safe in Pearce's apartment was hidden behind Janus-relief. Finally, it is revealed
that Alexander Pearce hascome by a new face with the help of plastic surgery.

Lie
In movie character played by Johnny Depp has spent 20 million
dollarstototallychangehisappearance.
The first question is easy: $20 million?
I don’t think so. I’m sure that he could have gotten all this done for one, or half of a
million,veryeasy.
can you really completely change someone’s appearance with plastic surgery.
Again, I have to say that I don’t think so.Assuredly we can change the shape of different parts of
the body.We can remove the skin, add implants, reshape other areaswithinreason, ofcourse.
But can a face changed that it is unrecognizable? It is not possible. we can change the shape of
the face to degree, but the skeletal architecture of the face is rarely radically changed. While this
makes nice & great cinema, it ain’t great reality.

MY opinion
The Tourist is an exotic espionage thriller that's quite fun and entertaining. While on
vacation in Venice, Frank Tupelo is inexact for a mobster named Alexander Pearce when
he's picked up by Pearce's mistress, and ends up on the run from gangsters and Scotland
Yard. Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, and Paul Bettany structure a strong project and convey
incredible exhibitions. There's a sure appeal to the story, and it's ready to be sharp and
captivating as the situation transpire. Moreover, the movie is coordinated well, with a
keen speed and excellent areas. Some parts may seem formulaic, but The Tourist is a sleek
and enjoyable film.
Overall it is good, romantic thriller movie. The chemistry is nonexistent, the supporting
roles don't come any more common, and too many laughable occasions arise from the
characters laboring dramatically to be intense. The tone is lightly comic, the dialogue flirty
and amusing but the performances are unengaged. There's no floor of reality, as there always
was in a Hitchcock film, even his light confections, but the scenery is nice to look at.
Additionally, the film is directed verywell, with a smart pace and beautiful and awsome
locations. Some parts may seem mimetic , but The Tourist is a sleek and enjoyable film.
