Summary of the Report

The role of the human resource management is to oversee important aspects in

an organization especially the human resources to create and provide a productive and
thriving workforce. The human resource management suggests how to strategically
manage people as resources in the organization. The management should give
emphasis and importance on selecting employees with skills and knowledge to meet
desired goals.

The human resource management develops skills of employees for the

preparation in accomplishing tasks. The managers and other department heads must
work together to develop employees’ skills. The managers also suggest strategies for
increasing employee commitment to the organization. This begins with using the
recruiting process or matching employees with the right positions according to their
qualifications. Once hired, employees must be committed to their jobs and feel
challenged throughout the year by their manager.

Human resource management requires planning to determine and identify

objectives and needs of the organization and to design policies to guide employees in
discharging their functions. These roles are concerned with the organization in
achieving desired results and goals. The employees play an important role in the
organization but they need assistance and guidance throughout their work.
Reaction

The role of the human resource management focuses on the development of

employees. Their skills and knowledge serve as assets in the organization. We should
keep in mind that these roles are for the managers to perform. The management needs
people to perform tasks and get work done in the organization. To maintain fairness and
continuity in the organization, the management designs policies. The human resource
management or departments cannot work alone. Everything they do needs to involve all
other departments and human resources in the organization.

The lifeblood of any organization is its people. When the roles of the human
resource management are well performed, the employees will be more productive and
make positive impact. HRM involves all managerial decisions, policies and practices
that influence human resources directly. Since every organization is made up of people,
acquiring their services, developing their skills, the role of the HRM should focus on
motivating them to high levels of performance and ensuring that they continue to
maintain their commitment to the organization are essential for achieving organizational
objectives.
