Summary of the Report

Human Resource Management involves developing people as resources in an

organization. Management is concerned on guiding and utilizing its people effectively
and efficiently to accomplish objectives or goals. Human resources are the total
knowledge, skills, creativity, and talents of an organization’s workforce. Human
Resource Management is also a process of making people work together to meet the
organization’s goals.

The management has the responsibility to choose or select people who will work
in an organization. These people should possess best qualities to make the
organization succeed in achieving its goals. The focus of the management should be on
the results rather than rules and to be able to create best results the management
should help employees develop their potential fully. The management permeates all the
functions and responsibilities to its departments so that people could focus on their
assigned jobs.

Human Resource Management is concerned on managing people in the

workforce. It must continuously develop through motivating people and the
management should give due attention to its people’s needs. Training could also help
the organization to make people adapt to technological and social changes. Through
this, the results are likely to be achieved, and these results could contribute to the
society and its people’s welfare.
Reaction

Reading and understanding the concept of Human Resource Management has

helped me to broaden my view on managing people in an organization. There are ways
to create results that the organization could benefit from but the best way to achieve
these results lies on its people. The management should develop its people knowledge,
abilities, skills, and personality and through this the organization could achieve and
meet its goals effectively and efficiently.

Human Resource Management is simply using its people in the workforce but
touching their lives and transforming them into more developed individuals can create
results that not only the organization can benefit from but also the society. It helps
bridge the gap between employees' performance and the organization’s strategic
objectives. Management should also ensure that people are able to adequately manage
their expectations, create a more positive environment at work fostering high
performance and finally ensure employee engagement at all levels of the organization.
