I. Introduction:
The Dynamo is an old term which refers to a Generator that makes a Direct
Current power using a commutator. Dynamos were the first electrical generators
capable of delivering power for industry, and the foundation upon which many
other later  electric-power conversion devices were based, including the  electric
motor, the alternating-current  alternator, and the rotary converter. (Dynamo n.d.
para. 1)

Dynamos were widely used in power generation and transportation during its
early years but were replaced by more efficient and economical Alternators.
Today, Dynamos are used in low voltage DC like Flashlights and Clockwork Radios.

IV. Answers to Questions and Solution to Problems

1. Why are some parts of the dynamo made of highly permeable materials
and some are made of conductive material?
 The more conductive a material is to magnetic fields, the higher its
permeability.
2. Is it possible to use the Revolving Field Stationary Armature construction
for DC dynamos?

3. Which part of the dynamo requires the greatest attention? Why?
