1. Đệ tử nguyện trọn đời quy y Phật, không quy y thiên thần quỷ vật
2. Đệ tử nguyện trọn đời quy y Pháp, không quy y ngoại đạo tà giáo
3. Đệ tử nguyện trọn đời quy y Tăng, không quy y thầy tà bạn ác

Năm Giới
(1)Không sát sanh; (2) Không trộm cắp; (3) Không tà dâm; (4) Không nói dối; và (5) Không dùng các chất say

Bảy Điều Nguyện

Cố gắng ăn chay; (2) Siêng năng học hỏi giáo lý; (3) Thường tụng kinh, ngồi thiền, và niệm Phật; (4) Nỗ lực làm công quả từ thiện;
(5) Nguyện Phật hoá gia đình; (6) Nguyện giúp người hiểu Phật Pháp; và (7) Nguyện kiên cường giữ Đạo của mình

Triple Gems: Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha

Taking refuge in the Buddha, the Teacher, I vow never to believe in Devas and Devils
Taking refuge in the Dhamma, the Teachings, I vow never to believe in other religions and false doctrine
Taking refuge in the Sangha, the Monks and Nuns, I vow never to believe in false teachers and evil persons

Observing The Five Precepts

1. I resolve not to kill—but to cherish all life
2. I resolve not to take what is not given—but to respect the things of others
3. I resolve not to engage in improper sexuality—but to lead a life of purity and self-restraint
4. I resolve not to lie—but to speak the truth
5. I resolve not to cause others to take substances that impair the mind, nor to do to myself—but to keep the mind clear

The Seven Vows

(1) Make an effort to become vegetarian; (2) Study Buddhist doctrines; (3) Practice meditation, recite name of the Buddha, and chant
suttas; (4) Make an effort to do charity; (5) Make an effort to assist your family to become Buddhist; (6) Make an effort to assist
others to understand Buddhism: and (7) Be faithful and protect Buddhism
