all students. Students must abide by all the rules and regulations. Students failing
to adhere will be punished. The decision made by the Thesis Committee will be
final.

 Get approval for thesis topic and be clear in the methodology he/she will follow in
the thesis and get it approved by thesis committee.

 Meet the thesis advisors regularly and make sure to discuss at least twice before
every stage of the external review failing which he/she will not be allowed to attend
the following review. He/she must register all the meetings with the given inputs and
comments from the Advisor in the Advisor Log Book duly signed with date and time.

 Any changes at the onset or during the intermediate stage of a particular review
has to be properly mentioned in the Thesis Panel Log Book & Advisor Log Book.
RULES & REGULATIONS - STUDENTS
 Adhere to the prescribed formats and deliverables for submission of his/her
documents and drawings required at different stages.

 It is the bound duty of the student to make notes of the inputs given by the panel
during the review before acknowledging it with the signature. The inputs given
by the panel should be incorporated and updated in the following review without
fail.

 Laptop discussions of all studies except DRAWINGS are permissible during the
advisor’s discussion. All drawings right from single line to pre-final presentation
drawings must be strictly discussed with HARD COPIES of suitable scale along
with all fundamental information.

 All listed deliverables must be presented for each review and the same must be
approved and signed by the advisor, to be eligible for appearing for the External
Review.
RULES & REGULATIONS - STUDENTS
 Students must be aware of their advisor’s availability and their time of
convenience for a quality discussion. Make sure to take an appointment, if
planning to discuss apart from his/ her regular schedule.

 Students should be present on all the working days of the week . Attendance will
be recorded and students with less than 75% attendance will not be eligible to
appear for the viva voce.

 Students must strictly follow the COLLEGE DRESS CODE failing which he/she
will not be allowed to attend the external review

 PLAGIARISM: Borrowing/Stealing ideas, contents or design from other sources

without citation is considered plagiarism. It is highly offensive and serious action
will be taken by the thesis committee. Ensure that all citations and credits are in
order before you submit the thesis.
