1. The artist used the abaca fiber extracted from the stalk of the banana to promote and
showcase the Philippine textile which mirrors the Philippine culture in Russia at Fiesta Filipinia.
2. It’s gonna be the Bamboo-made cooking utensils. By advertising it to people about how safe
they are safe to use, as they are antibacterial and antifungal. They don’t absorb water and so,
they are moisture free and toxin free. The Bamboo-made cooking utensils are cost-efficient and
it has a rich culture behind it. Bamboo personifies the life of simplicity and it symbolizes
durability, strength, flexibility, and resilience. It survives in the harshest conditions, still standing
tall and staying green year-round and that’s the characteristics of being a Filipino. We fall, we
stand, we fall again, we stand again with a smile in our face.
